Traditional Watercolour

Belted Kingfisher
Watercolour illustration of a Belted Kingfisher. I was part of my college's natural history collections project at the time, and was able to use a specimen from the collection as a reference.
Birds of the eastern US
A compilation of some of my favourite birds of the eastern US.
Suspicious Canada Goose
This was a design for shirts I made for a dear friend's birthday.
Black-capped Chickadee
A practice painting of a black-capped chickadee.
House and Garden
This was a watercolour painting for a class assignment. It's a painting I gave to a dear friend of a tiny house they designed.
The Old Barn
A cropped image of a painting I recently made for my first art show competition.
Lassen Peak Eruption
This is a watercolour painting I did for an art class in college. It's based on a black and white photo of Lassen Peak erupting in 1915. Honestly, I don't like looking at this paintings because I spot so many things I could have done differently, but I still really love the rainbow of colours I added to the buildings.
